Less “haunted house,” more storytelling. All three tours lean on real history and legend rather than jump scares or special effects — the goal is atmosphere, not fright. If you want the most theatrical option, the Medieval Underground tour goes furthest with a costumed guide and a candlelit dungeon; if you’d rather keep it calm, Old Town tour is explicitly storytelling-only.

The Medieval Underground tour isn’t recommended for children under 8, and Old Town tour isn’t suitable for under 10s — both involve passages, stairs, or themes better suited to older kids.
